Yunnan Baiyao (云南白药) is also known as Yunnan Paiyao. It supports circulation in the body, relieves minor aches and pains and is useful for overall internal and external health. Apply topically as a hemostatic agent to stop bleeding of minor wounds.

Directions:
Equivalency: 1 capsule contains .25g powder; 1 vial of powder contains 4g = 16 capsules

Internally:
As a dietary supplement, take 1 to 2 capsules, 4x day. Do not exceed 2 capsules every 4 hours.

Externally:
Apply powder directly to bleeding wound (clean first, and bandage afterwards.)

Ingredients:
Tienchi Ginseng (San-Qi) Root, Chinese Yam (Shan-Yao) Root, Dioscorea nipponica (Chuan-Shan) Root, Geranium thunbergii (Zhong-Ri-Lao-Guan-Cao) Aerial Parts and Borneolum Syntherticum (Bing-Pian).
Other ingredients: hydroxpropyl methylcellulose (vegetarian capsule)

Contents:
16 capsules (250mg each) and 1 red pill (found in a depression in the center of the foil package or capsules; wrapped in cotton in bottle of powder).
Serving size: 2 capsules or 500mg powder (1/4 tsp)

Warnings:
Do not take while pregnant or nursing.
In general use, do not take Yunnan Baiyao internally for more than 1-2 weeks. It can be weakening over a period of time. If necessary, combine with a tonic formula such as mushroom extracts or neutral ginsengs.
Note: Broad beans, fish, sour or cold foods should not be taken within one day after administration.
