Shipping and Return Policy
  We attempt to describe our products completely and truthfully. If you are unhappy with your purchase, or it is not what you expected, contact us within 72 hours of receipt of your item.

Returns are handled on an individual basis, with either credit for your purchase or replacement with a similar product.

All original shipping charges and return shipping charges are non-refundable.

If you refuse delivery on a package, you are responsible for the return shipping costs, as well as any outstanding duties, fees, tariffs or taxes.

Once delivery has been attempted, we are no longer responsible for the package should it fail to be delivered. If it is returned to us, we will refund the cost of the product less the shipping charges and any additional return fees.

International Returns or Packages Refused:
If the package is returned to
The Modern Herb Shop because of an address error made by the customer, or the customer refuses the package or, the contents are not allowed into the country by customs, the customer will be responsible for the additional costs charged to The Modern Herb Shop for the return of the package.

  • It is important for you to become familiar with the Customs policies for your country before ordering. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of our products. Customs regulations vary greatly by country and lack of knowledge regarding the customs rules governing the country you are importing to can result in your order incurring import duties, the delivery being delayed or returned to us.
  • The customer is considered the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
  • Any fees charged to The Modern Herb Shop due to non-compliance by the customer of your country's laws and regulations will be charged to the customer. If any items are returned to us due to non-compliance issues with your country's laws and regulations, a refund will be issued for the merchandise only, less 20 percent of the value of your order as the re-stocking fee, and any other charges incurred such as quarantine fees, shipping fees or warehousing fees assessed by the customs in your country.
