Long Dan Xie Gan Wan (Lung Tan Xie Gan Wan, Gentiana Drain Liver Pills, Snake and Dragon Tea Pills) is a Chinese Medicinal formula helpful to support the body during liver-gallbladder fire. *
TCM Function: Drains liver and gallbladder heat, dispels damp, soothes the liver, tonifies blood, supports the body's movement of urine.
TCM Indications: Use for heat in the liver or gall bladder channel causing symptoms that can affect any of the three jiao (burners). Suggested to combine with Xiao Yao Wan.

Does not contain Mu Tong, an unsafe ingredient used in older
formulations of this product. Mu tong has been shown to be toxic to the
kidneys.

Warnings: Do not use this formula if the diagnosis is blood deficiency and wind heat (血 虛 風 燥 ). Not to be used if pregnant or nursing. Not for prolonged used or in
high doses except under supervision of a qualified health practitioner.
Not recommended in cases of diabetes, hypertension, liver disorders,
severe kidney insufficiency, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of
appetite, or hypokalemia; and may potentiate potassium depletion of
thiazide diuretics and stimulant laxatives, as well as the action of
cardiac glycosides, and cortisol. Use with caution in cases of
abdominal distention.
